Downstairs Bathroom Renovation - December 2025/January 2026
The original bathroom. Cute, but we wanted to make it more modern and our own.
Started by taking out the vanity, sink and the medicine cabinet.
Next, we removed the toilet and started painting the walls and trim.
We painted the accent wall, where we will eventually install horizontal shiplap boards. We also ripped up the old vinyl sheet flooring. Super satisfying!
After we painted the accent wall, we started installing the shiplap.
Shiplap boards are coming along really well!
Lastly, we installed our new vinyl flooring, the new vanity and the new sink. The toilet is the original one. The toilet and the bathtub are a project for another year!
Finished the trim, the doors and installed new black door knobs and accessories. We have since changed up all of the hinges as well. Complete!
