Walkway Installation - June/July 2025
The start: Original slate stepping stone walkway was overgrown and we were looking to increase our curb appeal.
Measuring the distance of both the walk way and our new foundation mulch bed that we were going put in after.
Breaking up the grass to mark out the walkway.
Dug down deep enough for our base material.
Veronica is working hard spreading the first layer of crushed stone base!
First base layer of crushed stone complete.
Next, we put the solid layer of paver sand on top of the crushed stone base.
Raked level, ready to start!
Next, we put in our flexible paver edging.
Off to a great start! Record time, but next... the bend.
The walkway bend is going great, just need to complete to outside rows!
Hard work pays off!
Lastly, we put down the glue (polymeric sand) locking the pavers in place.
Final product with the mulch bed!
